Trading your own account sounds great until you actually price out the capital required to make it worthwhile. Bulenox skips that problem entirely: pass a simple evaluation, get access to up to $250,000 in buying power, and keep up to 90% of what you make. It’s part of the fast-growing “funded trader” niche for futures traders, and Bulenox has become one of the more talked-about names in it. Here’s what the program actually offers.

What Is Bulenox?
Bulenox is a proprietary futures trading firm — commonly called a “prop firm” — that lets traders demonstrate their skills on a simulated funded account before trading firm capital for real. Instead of depositing your own money into a live brokerage account, you pay a one-time evaluation fee, trade within a set of risk rules on a Qualification Account, and once you hit the profit target without breaking those rules, you move to a Master Account and start collecting payouts.
Account Sizes and Pricing
Bulenox offers six account sizes, from a $10,000 starter account up to $250,000 for experienced traders. Pricing scales with account size — a $50K account runs around $125-$175/month, while the $250K tier is priced around $535/month. Each size comes with its own profit target and drawdown limit, for example the $50K account has a $3,000 profit target against a $2,500 drawdown buffer, and the $100K account steps up to a $6,000 target with a $3,000 buffer. Reviewers who’ve compared all six sizes generally point to the $50K account as the most balanced option — the contract allowance, profit target ratio, and activation fee line up cleanly for traders who aren’t ready to commit to the larger tiers yet.

How the Qualification Process Works
Getting started is a four-step process: register and pick your account size, download and connect a supported trading platform, trade on the Qualification Account until you hit the profit target while respecting the drawdown rules, then move to the Master Account. There’s no minimum trading days requirement pushed front and center, and no background check to start — you’re trading within a day of signing up.
Profit Split and Payouts
This is where Bulenox stands out a bit: traders keep 100% of their first $10,000 in profits, and 90% of everything after that. Payouts run weekly, processed every Wednesday, with a $1,000 minimum payout ($500 for the $10K account tier). For a funded program, a 90% split with weekly payouts is on the more generous end compared to a lot of competitors that pay out biweekly or monthly.
Platforms Supported
Bulenox supports five trading platforms: NinjaTrader as the primary option, plus ATAS, Quantower, Sierra Chart, and MultiCharts. That’s a wider spread than a lot of prop firms offer, which matters if you already have a charting setup or indicator library built around one of these.
Is It Worth It?
If you’re a futures trader who understands risk management but doesn’t have $50K-$250K sitting around to trade with, Bulenox’s model removes that barrier for the cost of a monthly subscription and an activation fee once you pass. The rules are clearly laid out, the profit split is competitive, and payouts land weekly rather than making you wait a month. As with any prop firm, futures and options trading carries real risk, and passing the evaluation takes discipline — but for traders ready to prove it, Bulenox is one of the more accessible entry points into funded trading right now.
