Most power banks are built to top up a phone. The MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max is built to keep a whole campsite running. It packs 70,000mAh (259Wh) into a 3.4-pound “Energy Cube” with four charging ports, a built-in LED light with SOS mode, and up to 100W from a single USB-C port. It’s MOVESPEED’s best-selling product and is listed at $159.99 (regular price $228.99) in a “limited-time clearance sale”.

For this MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max review, we went through the full spec sheet, the product images and port-by-port output figures, the 230 customer reviews on the store, and MOVESPEED’s shipping, return and warranty policies. The goal is to show what this big battery can actually do, who it’s for, and where the listing’s numbers don’t add up.

MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max Review: Capacity

At 70,000mAh, the Z70 Pro Max holds roughly seven times the energy of a typical 10,000mAh phone power bank. MOVESPEED’s description says it can fully charge an iPhone 15 about 14 times or a MacBook Air about 5 times. One of the product images gives slightly different figures (17 iPhone 15 charges, 4 iPad Pro charges and 2 MacBook Pro 16″ charges), so treat these as rough estimates. Real-world numbers are always lower than the rated capacity because of conversion losses.

Either way, this is enough for a long weekend of camping for a small group, several days at a festival, or keeping phones, a router and a fan going through a power outage. One reviewer said it got them through six days at a music festival.

Ports and Charging Speed

The Z70 Pro Max has four outputs, and how much power you get depends on how many you use at once:

Ports in use Output
USB-C1 alone Up to 100W
USB-C2 alone Up to 45W
USB-A1 or A2 alone Up to 22.5W
USB-C1 + USB-C2 65W + 35W
All four ports 65W on C1 + 15W shared across the others

A single 100W USB-C port is enough to fast-charge most laptops, including a 14-inch MacBook Pro; MOVESPEED says it reaches 40% in 30 minutes. Recharging the bank itself is a big job: with a 65W USB-C charger, expect it to take many hours. Pass-through charging lets you charge the bank and your devices at the same time, and MOVESPEED says it can also be charged from a solar panel with USB-C PD output.

Design, Light and Display

The “Energy Cube” design has a rugged, sci-fi look with a carry strap on one side. The LED display shows the remaining battery percentage and a lightning icon while fast charging. A built-in light has three brightness levels plus an SOS flashing mode, which you turn on by double-pressing the power button. That makes it useful as a tent light or for emergencies.

The trade-off is size and weight. At 3.42 pounds it’s about as heavy as a large laptop, so it’s a base-camp or car-trunk battery rather than something to carry in a pocket. MOVESPEED notes that a genuine 70,000mAh pack has to be this heavy, and warns that a lighter one is a sign of fake capacity.

Important: You Can’t Fly With It

At 259Wh, the Z70 Pro Max is well over the limits airlines set for spare lithium batteries. In the U.S., the FAA allows spare batteries up to 100Wh in carry-on bags, and 101–160Wh only with airline approval. Batteries above 160Wh are not allowed in carry-on or checked bags. The product description lists “travel” as a use, but that means road trips and camping, not flights. MOVESPEED sells a separate “airplane-safe” model (the M25 Pro) if you need a battery for flying.

What Customers Say

The product page shows a 4.9-star average from 230 reviews: 213 five-star and 17 four-star, with no ratings of three stars or lower. Reviewers praise the capacity and multi-device charging, and one buyer said early measurements matched the claimed specs. The most common complaint is the weight.

Many reviews come from buyers in Korea and other countries, with names partly hidden, which suggests they may have been imported from other marketplaces. Some are only a word or two. A perfect absence of negative reviews across 230 ratings is unusual, so we’d weigh them with some caution.

Listing Details Worth Knowing

  • 145W, 140W or 100W? The product title says 145W and a page bullet says 140W, but the description, spec table (20V/5A = 100W), port breakdown and product images all show a 100W maximum.
  • Port count: a page bullet says “3 output ports + 1 input port”, while the description and spec table list 4 outputs and 2 inputs.
  • Warranty: the page advertises a 5-year warranty, while the description says 3 years.
  • Charge counts: the description says 14 iPhone 15 charges; a product image says 17.
  • Returns on sale items: the page promises a “30-day Money Back Guarantee”, but the refund policy says sale items can’t be returned, and this product is labeled a clearance sale. The policy also still contains a “[INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]” placeholder.
  • Shipping speed: the page says “Ships within 24 hours”, while the shipping policy says dispatch within 5 working days and 15–20 days delivery for power banks.

Who It’s For

  • Campers and overlanders who want to charge phones, lights, fans and cameras for days.
  • Home backup for outages and hurricane season.
  • Festival-goers and road trippers charging several devices.
  • Laptop users who need 100W USB-C power away from an outlet.

Who It’s Not For

  • Air travelers: at 259Wh, it isn’t allowed on planes.
  • Anyone wanting a pocketable charger: it weighs 3.42 lb.
  • Buyers who need AC outlets: it has USB ports only, so no wall-plug appliances.
  • Shoppers in a hurry: power banks take 15–20 days to arrive.

MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max Review: Shipping, Returns and Warranty

MOVESPEED’s shipping policy charges $9.98 for standard shipping on orders under $199, with free shipping at $199 and above. At $159.99, the Z70 Pro Max alone doesn’t qualify, so expect about $169.97 total unless you add another item. Power banks are estimated to take 15–20 days to arrive, and delivery isn’t available to P.O. boxes, military bases or remote areas. You can check current pricing and bundle add-ons on the MOVESPEED store.

The refund policy allows return requests within 30 days of receiving the item, in unused condition with original packaging, through support@movespeed.com. Approved refunds are issued within 10 business days. However, the same policy excludes sale items, and also lists hazardous materials as non-returnable. Ask support to confirm in writing that a clearance-priced Z70 Pro Max can be returned before you buy. If an item is defective, damaged or wrong, contact MOVESPEED right away. MOVESPEED also says it will refund any product found to have fake capacity or speed.

FAQ

How many times can it charge an iPhone?

MOVESPEED says about 14 full iPhone 15 charges in the description, and 17 in a product image. Expect real-world results around that range.

Is the MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max 145W?

The title says 145W, but the detailed specs show a 100W maximum from the USB-C1 port.

Can I take it on a plane?

No. At 259Wh it exceeds the 160Wh maximum for spare lithium batteries on flights.

Can it charge a laptop?

Yes. The USB-C1 port delivers up to 100W, enough for most USB-C laptops.

Does it have an AC outlet?

No. It has two USB-C and two USB-A outputs only.

MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max Review: Bottom Line

The MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max is a genuinely big USB power bank for the money: 259Wh, a 100W USB-C port, four outputs, a built-in light and a capacity display, for $159.99. It’s a strong fit for camping, festivals and outage backup, as long as you don’t need to fly with it or plug in AC appliances. The listing is messy, though: the 145W headline doesn’t match the 100W specs, the warranty and port claims conflict, and the return policy excludes sale items. Confirm the return terms with MOVESPEED before ordering, and budget for shipping and a 2–3 week wait.

That wraps up our MOVESPEED Z70 Pro Max review. Check current pricing on the official MOVESPEED store.
