A handheld gaming PC is great on the sofa, but sooner or later you’ll want it on a TV or monitor with a proper controller, keyboard and wired internet. The JSAUX 6-in-1 Docking Station is the top item in JSAUX’s best-seller collection, and the upgraded HB0603S version adds HDMI 2.1 with 4K@120Hz output, 100W pass-through charging and Gigabit Ethernet. It costs $39.99 (regular $49.99) and had a 4.7-star rating from 1,187 reviews when we checked.

For this JSAUX 6-in-1 Docking Station review, we went through JSAUX’s full spec sheet, compatibility notes and charging behavior, and compared the four versions on sale with JSAUX’s other docks. The most important part is choosing the right model for your handheld, because one popular device needs a different version.

Which Version Should You Buy?

Version Price What’s different
HB0603S – Upgraded $39.99 Steam Deck LCD/OLED, ROG Ally/Ally X, Legion Go/Go 2/Go S, MSI Claw. Not for ROG Xbox Ally/Ally X
HB0612 – Upgraded $39.99 Same features, plus ROG Xbox Ally/Ally X support
Desk Setup Kit $46.99 Dock plus a 1.8m 8K HDMI cable

JSAUX says the only difference between the HB0603S and HB0612 is that the HB0612 adds ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X compatibility. Since they cost the same, the HB0612 is the safer pick if you might switch handhelds later. Neither model supports the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2.

JSAUX 6-in-1 Docking Station Review: Key Features

HDMI 2.1 with 4K@120Hz

The upgraded dock uses HDMI 2.1, rated for 4K@120Hz HDR, 2K@144Hz and 1080p@120Hz. That’s a real step up from older 4K@60Hz docks if you have a high-refresh TV or monitor. Bear in mind that your handheld’s own GPU and display output decide what you actually get in games; most handhelds won’t run demanding titles at 4K@120fps, but the higher refresh rate helps at 1080p and 1440p.

100W pass-through charging

Plug your USB-C PD charger into the dock and it charges your handheld while you play. JSAUX explains how the dock adapts to different chargers: with a charger of 45W or less it runs in a 25W mode, between 45W and 65W it charges normally, and with 65W or more it can supply a 30W enhanced mode (useful for the ROG Ally’s 30W Turbo mode). JSAUX recommends a 100W charger for the ROG Ally. The standard dock doesn’t come with a charger; the Desk Setup Kit – Powered adds a 65W one.

Three USB-A ports and Gigabit Ethernet

Three USB-A 3.0 ports at 5Gbps cover a controller, keyboard and mouse or an external drive. The Gigabit Ethernet port is the feature many handheld owners overlook: a wired connection makes big game downloads faster and gives steadier online play than Wi-Fi.

Compact and driver-free

At 141g with an aluminum body and TPE padding, the dock is small enough to pack in a travel bag. It’s plug and play with no drivers, and you can hot-swap devices.

How It Compares With Other JSAUX Docks

Dock Price Best for
6-in-1 Docking Station HB0603S/HB0612 (this one) $39.99 Best value: 4K@120Hz, 100W, Gigabit Ethernet
6-in-1 Multifunctional Docking Station $39.99 An alternative layout at the same price
7-in-1 RGB Cooling Docking Station $55.99 Adds RGB lighting and cooling
RGB Docking Station for Steam Deck $79.99 A premium RGB design for Steam Deck

For most people, the 6-in-1 HB0603S or HB0612 gives the best balance of features and price. Spend more only if you want RGB lighting or built-in cooling for long sessions.
